Old Crow was born in February 1982, in Iisalmi, Finland. http://www.siba.fi/finland.html Those days we were very strongly influenced by a finnish country group named Country Express. http://personal.inet.fi/musiikki/countryexpress

After few months, there were five of us left; Topi Tegelberg (lead voc.), Lassi-Pekka Heiskanen (bass), Esa R�nk� (ac.gtr), Jouni Louhivirta (Fender Stratocaster) and Jussi Patronen (drums). Timo Hartikainen came along a couple of years later just after the first real gigs (somebody paid us), about 1985.

Nowadays there are three original members of Old Crow still playing. New men came in later. Risto Ter�v�inen (bass, voc., songwriting) came along in 1997 with Pete Lappalainen (Fender Stratocaster, vocals). Jone Romppanen came back as a drummer and vocalist in about 1996 (he has been playing with us in the late eighties).

Old Crow plays many kinf of country music, likes Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard etc. We’ve been drinkin’ in country festivals, bars, parties etc during the last 17 years, playin’ some music too.

Iisalmi Country & Blues Festival was born in the hands of Old Crow, in 1985, and the festival still exists. http://www.iisalmi.fi/www/kehypaja/countryblues/index.html
